My last video was very structured, and this one is very…not. So the pendulum swings, I suppose!

This is an abstract, experimental layered soundscape I made to help melt your worries away. 🫠

I recorded some personal attention video, though you can totally just close your eyes for this one if you’re comfortable with it! That’s the reason I didn’t match sounds to the footage this time around, so you don’t feel like you’re missing too much (just me making a bunch of weird expressions as usual lol). It kind of brings me back to the earlier days of ASMR, when some of my favorite ASMR videos didn't have any footage, just a still image, and the focus was the audio. I know that having a visual aspect is a must these days, so that's why I've added the (unrelated) personal attention footage for those who prefer to watch something too!

I’ve included the sounds of just under 40 different triggers in this one, and I was basically a kid in a candy store with the effects. Some items don’t have any effects and some have many. Unintelligible/inaudible whispers and gentle rain weave in and out through the whole video.

Also if you’re thinking, “Selena, you look so tired that I thought you ran a marathon after not sleeping for a week,” then you’re not quite far off. I didn’t realize how tired I looked until I got into editing the footage, ahhh! 😱

I’ve been going to bed late and then as the first light hits (around 5:30 am) the loudest robin in the world wakes me up with chirping and I kind of just sit there in bed staring at the ceiling with a haunted look on my face as bird chirps bounce around in my head until my real alarm goes off. 😑

In summary:
Layered sounds with lots of effects!
I look tired because I am tired. Blame it on the robin. 🪺
