1 Utama was BUSY during CMCO! (Raya shopping at Malaysia's biggest mall)

We were BLOWN AWAY by the amount of people shopping, eating, exploring, and altogether enjoying themselves inside of 1 Utama. The most important thing to note here is everyone seemed to be following social distancing guidelines! Well done Malaysia.

We started our video wondering how apprehensive people will be towards going out in public, during the CMCO, and even after the CMCO is over. Our experience at 1 Utama has made us confident that people can and will overcome this fear, while still respecting the rules and staying safe. In the end, the biggest mall in Malaysia was full of people obeying social distancing guidelines of the CMCO, and still enjoying themselves.

This was an eye opening, and really a re-assuring video to make!

We were also searching for baju kurung and baju melayu for a Hari Raya celebration that we were invited to by our neighbour! Stay tuned for that vlog coming soon! It will be our first Eid al-fitr and we are really looking forward to it.
