After my spiritual awakening, I definitely lost friends and became more aware of the deeper spiritual meaning of life. I often have difficulty relating to peers. I’ve always been misunderstood, but I’m hyper aware of how my friends are still hustling, not present, and don’t understand the power of presence. It’s true that people are crazy. We can simply look at who was elected president to consider the current state of the world. I choose to focus on inner peace, have as much fun as I want, and stay in my house tending to my son, plants, and books.
