| The Legendary Story of Monk Daoyan (Yao Guangxiao) During the Ming Dynasty
In Chanting Group Practice (Part 15), Grandmaster JinBodhi narrated the story of Monk Daoyan (Yao Guangxiao) of Ming Dynasty who assisted Zhu Di to ascend and become Emperor Yongle, and observed strict precepts despite his exceptional merits. It revealed the great wisdom and life of this legendary character. Grandmaster also elaborated on Guan Gong’s loyalty and deeds. Following, Grandmaster led everyone in chanting before the Buddha, and conducted auspicious energy blessings for all participants.
