The 3pm lifestyle open for ABC affiliate WRIC licensed to Petersburg, Virginia, also serving the Richmond area.

With the departure of co-host Amie Carter, WRIC took the opportunity to use a new voiceover for their lifestyle show. The open was also updated to add the "friends" of Showcase, which are meteorologist Madison Olms and digital/traffic reporter Nia McMillan.

The voiceover change comes as Nexstar is making their stations switch to various talent at Spotvoice. The news opens and promos on WRIC continue to their outgoing voiceover at this time, but the station is in the process of switching to Dan Jordan, so stay tuned.

Starting January 7th on Showcase, WRIC dropped Tim Dadabo for a male voice artist, who remains unidentified at this time. Didn't sound like anyone off of Spotvoice to me, but the VO does sound happy lol. Graphics (NDC_03) and music (Aerial by SAM) remain the same.
