Описание к видео Lifting Your Spirit: Episode 18 featuring Chuck Phillips and Gil Williams

Chuck Phillips retired from a very successful Organization Development practice. He consulted to a wide variety of organizations worldwide focusing on organization development, strategic planning and change management. He characterized much of his work as facilitating the development of work environments where people could bring their humanity to their work.

As a member of the highly respected NTL Institute, Chuck devoted significant time and energy in the development of other consultants. He worked off and on in Malawi, Africa for 2 1/2 years building consulting capacity in a host of organizations there.

Drawing on Chuck’s in-depth African experience, Precious Project co-founders, Gil Williams and Susie Rheault engaged with him to assess feasibility, organization structure needed and fundraising strategies even before the project was actually founded. Chuck has been on the board since then and the Chair of the board for the last 10 years.

Chuck lives in Bethlehem, NH with his wife Betsey and has two daughters - one in Big Sky, Montana and one in Anchorage, Alaska.

Gil Williams has had three consecutive successful careers. The first was as a businessman, the second was as a human resources professional and the most meaningful of all has been his time as a founder director of an NGO in Tanzania, The Precious Project.

In 2010, 9 orphaned/abandoned children lived in a rented cinderblock building with no water, no power and barely enough to eat. Gil took on the fundraising with a contagious optimism that fueled a “miracle” . . . the construction of a new home for the Precious Project children, a 2 story primary school, a dining hall and community center, as well as a secondary school. Gil and his wife Susie have spent upwards of 4 months every year in the village since 2012. In 2023 Precious Project was selected by the Tanzania Government to be the winner of a national award, The Torch Award. Gil’s enthusiasm as a leader empowers all who visit Precious Project.
