The focus on health has increasingly shifted to encompass the specific needs of individuals and communities, with women's health emerging as an indispensable aspect. Exploring ways to overcome the stigmatization and shame surrounding health issues becomes crucial in empowering women to confront their fears and fostering research that can benefit both individuals and families.

After years of dedicated attention to this matter, Flora came to the realization that there remains a significant gap in research on women's health and wellness within the existing medical system. Driven by the belief that "women require more tools and knowledge about their bodies and health," she wholeheartedly embraced the mission of effecting change. Thus, Flora embarked on the journey of founding CareMs, an initiative dedicated to women's lifecycle healthcare. Through the integration of comprehensive solutions derived from a biopsychological approach and AI-powered medical research, CareMs aims to revolutionize women's healthcare.

Drawing from her personal experiences, Flora Liao shares her own fears and courage, acting as a beacon of inspiration. By openly discussing her vulnerabilities, she encourages others to confront their own apprehensions and seek the necessary support. Through her unwavering determination, Flora aims to empower women to take control of their health, facilitating a transformative shift in the way society views and addresses women's healthcare needs.

She is also an advisor for Women Empowerment Council, NGO based in Beijing working with enterprises to promote gender parity workplace and culture. She sits on the board and invested in Kentaste, a Kenyan local agriculture social enterprise funded by Acumen and DOB Equity; ZhiTu, a Beijing based education company focusing on bridging Chinese and international students for culture and academic exchange.
