This system is available with 3 of our most popular ID clad head attachments (3", 2" and 1.5") in one interchangeable head system. The each of the attachments have a standardized interface, so the user can change between ID attachments in under 5 minutes.

In the past ID laser cladding tool users are faced with a compromise between the smallest bore size that they can clad, the max deposition rate that they can achieve, and the max reach. Large ID tools have good deposition rate, but are limited to cladding larger parts. Small ID tools can clad bores that larger tools can't, but their deposition rate is slow and can be reach limiting for larger bores. Until now several different ID tools have been required in order to clad a broad range of ID applications. This is not only very expensive, but also requires lots of time to swap between tools and introduces risk of fiber damage during tool changes.

The Nittany Laser DB-IHS ID laser cladding system allows the user to change to the best attachment for the job in under 5 minutes! Each of the attachments are robust, reliable tools that are used in production shops around the world. This ID laser cladding system is the most versatile cladding system available globally. No other tool can clad the broad range of sizes and depths that this tool can! The system is much less costly than purchasing 3 separate ID tools. The DB-IHS is available with the following Attachments:

3" (for bores 3" ID and larger. Similar to Nittany Laser DBCH-3000)
