Yeah, ends up Move's Gladiator Duel is deeper than expected! Been playing this for quite a few hours. While I generally use Rin, the Asian girl, I use Boomer here because she has a better weapon. Yes, weapons do matter a little bit as bludgeoning weapons are easier to use than swords (it's easy to forget to TURN your sword so the blade hits your opponent. Hitting with the actual BLADE seems to do more damage!) and while you do unlock alternate weapons, I haven't unlocked any non-swords yet for other characters.

Boomer is freakin' awesome though...and seriously, did they swipe this music from Soul Calibur because it SOUNDS like it! Even funnier? They use the SAME MUSIC for archery! Epic freakin' Soul Calibur knock-off music for SHOOTING WATERMELONS! XD

Oh and if you're wondering about the "limp" animation? Well obviously while it's tracking the controller/weapon movement 1 to 1, it's making up the arm movement. So yeah, doesn't affect gameplay.
