Freestyle Tricktip 51: The Railwhip

Описание к видео Freestyle Tricktip 51: The Railwhip

With winter basically upon us now, it's time to start work on ingredients for stationary combos, and one of my favourites has always been the railwhip. Hopefully this video will help you get started with this fun little trick.

Usually overlooked in favour of its simpler and more diverse cousin, the railflip, the railwhip involves standing on one wheel while the board's in rail and kicking the board into a 360º rotation beneath you. It's like doing a 360 shuvit, only you never lose contact with the board. They're visually flashy but very low-energy; perfect for cold winter sessions in your garage or killing some time in the corner of an unheated indoor skatepark.

The in-depth breakdown and photo sequence can be found on the website at https://freestyletricktips.com/rail/r... for those who find stills and text easier to follow.

Need a new board? Want a dedicated freestyle setup to make this easier? Head over to https://www.offsetskatesupply.co.uk and treat yourself. You deserve it.

This video actually has some clips I've... err... "borrowed" from other videos, so for further viewing, here's some links to the full version of some of the clips I used:

The O-goshi compilation can be found at    • Tsuri Goshi, Ogoshi Compilation

The clip of Denham Hill is from his "Night Shift":    • Denham Hill - ' Night Shift '

The clip of Callum Bowran comes from Late Tricks' highly recommended Bristol 2014 edit:    • UK Freestyle Skateboarding Jam - Bris...   (Also, come back Callum. We miss you.)

Alex Foster's glorious continuous railwhip nonsense can be seen in his run from Brandenburg at    • Alex Foster - 9th place amateur - run...

All videos are used for education purposes, fair use, something something, etc.

Anyway. Like, share, subscribe, do whatever you please. If there's any trick in particular you'd like a tip for, drop a comment below and we'll see what we can do. And if you appreciate these tricktips, please buy us a coffee at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/fstricks to help keep this project going!
