After my first surgery in 2016 I went into a dark place. After my second surgery in 2020 I said if I ever get hurt again I’m retiring. After my third surgery in 2022 I said I’m not sure if I can do this anymore. 2024 has been about getting everything back and more. This film is more to me than my surfing. I’m not where I want to be. But, I’m where I need to be. Life’s all about the stepping stones.
