In this demo, we are showing you how Bloombase StoreSafe Intelligent Storage Firewall provides true bump-in-the-wire encryption with IBM Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager (#GKLM) for fully centralized key lifecycle management using the standards-based ‪@Oasis-openOrg‬ KMIP interface - enabling the genomic data viewer software running on ‪@RockyLinux‬ to deliver encrypted genome sequence files to scientists and researchers exactly as if they were plain text, meeting compliance requirements such as #GDPR, #HIPAA, #HITECH and a variety of information confidentiality mandates.

The genome sample data used in this demo have been adapted from GenBank, a genetic sequence database managed by National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health (NIH): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank.
