Argentina immigration crackdown: Foreign residents face new fees and restrictions

President Javier Milei’s government has announced changes to Argentina’s immigration system, which will see foreigners charged for attending state universities or public hospitals. It will also tighten requirements for visitors to the country and redefine grounds for expulsion.
