All the books I've read recently! Classics & Contemporary

Hello friends!

I thought it was about time I shared some of my thoughts on the books I've been reading recently with you! I've been in a HUGE reading slump for the past couple of months, but I finally feel myself stepping out of it! YAY :)

I have some wonderful reads to tell you about, as well as some not so wonderful reads...hahaha

Since I've been working on writing and illustrating my own children's novel, I've been reading a lot of children's literature for inspiration! It has been an absolute joy to return to some old favorites, as well as find some new favorites!

In this video, I also share how I've rediscovered my adoration for E. B. White! I've loved his books since I was very very young, but returning to him at age 23 feels extra special! Not only returning to his beloved children's books, but also discovering his brilliantly written essays! I can't recommend reading both his children's books and his essays enough!
