Short Range Float Fishing with Mini Wagglers

I had a couple of hours to spare, so I went down to a local pond to fish close in with a mini waggler float.

The weather has been horrible recently and the wind was still quite strong when I started, so I chose a swim in the corner which was covered by a screen of trees behind me and a high bank.

The swim itself was full of debris from recent floods, so it was going to be a struggle to keep the fish out of snags.
