God, I’m such a waste…

Before I get into the sappy thank yous and youtuber celebrations, I wanna clear something up, because I can hear the people saying “I though Endy quit, why is he uploading again?”
I never said I quit, I only said that Take My Hand would be “my last Launchpad cover for a while, if not ever”. Second of all, I hit 500 subscribers. Of course I’m gonna celebrate that. And I’ve been working on this cover for MONTHS.
I won’t be answering questions about my extended hiatus any more.

And now, the thank yous.

I wanna give a HUGE thank you to all the fans and friends who got me where I am. The people who supported me from the beginning and continue to do so to this day. I really cannot thank you all enough for getting me to this monolithic milestone that I never thought I’d reach. 500 isn’t a lot to most people, but it’s a lot to me. I never expected to get even 250, but here I am, double that, just over a year later.

Now, because I know people are demanding an explanation to my hiatus and why I’m stopping/slowing down/going Nev/whatever you call it:
I’m just a person. I’m your local non-binary trying to make people happy. I hope I’ve done that for you. However, there are people who are never going to be happy with what I put out. They don’t understand that I care more about things that are fun to watch and play than things that would win awards. I won’t name names, but I’m distancing myself from them, and to do that, I need to distance myself from the community. I know it’s foolish to let a few people get in the way of my favorite hobby, but I don’t know what else to do. I can’t have fun without them gunning me down, so I’ve given up.
I feel like this lyric explains it pretty well, which is why I chose this song:
“I tried to fight but I caved in
Deeper than I've ever been
Maybe I'll just let this win
Cause it's pulling me under”
So that’s it. I feel like I can’t have fun doing this anymore. I’m still focusing on projects, I’m working on a plugins suite right now, as well as gift videos for my significant others, but for now major projects have stopped.
