Vinayak Lohani is the founder of Parivaar (http://parivaar.org/), a home for destitutes, tribals and the children of prostitutes located in Kolkata, India. He is a recipient of the president's award for child welfare.

Vinayak graduated from elite schools in India - B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and MBA from IIM Calcutta. After that, with a resolve to serve humanity, he started his social enterprise Parivaar with three kids in a rented house. It has since grown to 1000+ resident children and is considered to be a model institution for the overall development of destitute children. It has won many awards and accolades. There have also been many case studies on it and best-selling author Rashmi Bansal's book has an entire chapter on him.

In this talk, Vinayak will takes us through the story of Parivaar and social entrepreneurship in India.
