William "Billy" Maximoff is the son of Wanda Maximoff and Vision, and the younger twin brother of Tommy Maximoff. Created and raised within the Westview Anomaly, he, along with his brother, were targeted by S.W.O.R.D. and eventually captured by Agatha Harkness. During the Battle of Westview, the brothers were freed and helped defeat the S.W.O.R.D. agents. Following the battle, Wanda dispelled the Hex; however, Billy's soul jumped into the recently deceased body of William Kaplan. Billy, who became amnesiac, then lived for three years as William Kaplan. However, upon studying witchcraft, he sought to find Tommy and embarked on the Witches' Road alongside Agatha Harkness and her new coven.

Billy, along with his mother, were prophesied to come into existence by Chthon due to their powerful magical abilities. A statue of Billy was put up in the Darkhold Castle. Maximoff looked at her sternly as she took her hands off his chin and walked away, still grinning. She then turned around, telling him to follow her as she called him her pet. In a fit of rage, Maximoff started controlling Calderu and Kale's minds to attack Harkness. He then had them throw Harkness into a vat of quick-sinking mud and watched as she became engulfed by the substance. Not stopping there, Maximoff threw Calderu and Kale into the mud as well and watched as they struggled and begged to be free. A blue crown then emerged on Maximoff's head.[21]

Maximoff sat by a tree holding the wooden sigil. He then squeezed on it, destroying the sigil and letting it fall from his hand. Suddenly, he heard Harkness' voice from a distance, telling him that was quite the debut. She then mocked his old phrases, mimicking his faked confusion as to what a sigil was and his false craving for power. He corrected himself now, saying power was not what interested him. Harkness told him to continue telling himself that. Maximoff then asked when she figured out his identity.

Agatha All Along is an American web television series, based on the Marvel Comics supervillain of the same name. The series is a spin-off of and sequel to WandaVision. It is the twenty-fourth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the tenth installment of Phase Five. The series is produced by Marvel Television and was released on Disney+. The first and only season premiered on September 18, 2024 and concluded on October 30, 2024.

On October 7, 2021, Variety reported that a WandaVision spin-off series centered on Agatha Harkness was in development for Disney+ with Kathryn Hahn set to reprise her role as the title character and that Jac Schaeffer was attached to write and executive produce.[2]

On November 12, 2021, during Disney+ Day 2021, it was announced that an Agatha Harkness series titled Agatha: House of Harkness was in development. On January 12, 2022, it was reported that the series would start production in October in Atlanta. In May 2022, it was revealed that Peter Cameron, Cameron Squires, and Laura Donney had joined the series as writers. On June 6, 2022, it was reported that the series was scheduled to start production in January 2023 and wrap in May 2023. On July 23, 2022, at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Kevin Feige announced that the series would premiere in Winter 2023. It was also announced that the series had been retitled from Agatha: House of Harkness to Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
