Meeting Catherine Cavadini at GalaxyCon Live – March 6th, 2022

I didn't notice that my voice echoed in the recording until I re-watched the video myself so enjoy. 😅

I'm not going to lie. I used to watch a handful of episodes of the PowerPuff Girls in my childhood (I lost track of how many after watching one where a villain named Mask Scara applied impossible-to-remove makeup on her victims.). Alongside that show, classics like Teen Titans, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Courage the Cowardly Dog were some of the staples of my childhood and I'm grateful to have grown up with shows that contained rich, self-aware storytelling.

Catherine Cavadini was the voice of Blossom in the original 1998 show. In this session, we chatted about my usual discomfort in crowded spaces, a little bit about men that are fans of the series, and what it was like to work with Tara Strong. It's so awesome that these women bonded on set, which made working together feel so much like a party. It's the kind of lifestyle that I'd love to achieve one of these days. :)
