After carefully crafting all the joinery in our Ellington, CT shop, 6 truckloads of timber are delivered to the job site in Iowa, and the crew arrives on site. Assembling a timber frame of this scale is no easy task, and the teamwork, experience, and determination of our crew comes into play as the barn takes shape and the oak pegs secure each connection. Follow the story from frame to finish, and marvel at the epic completed exterior and breathtaking interior. Building on the style of early Americans, whose 1800s-era post & beam barns still dot the landscape today, this massive timber frame barn is just as authentic, and will serve & inspire for generations to come.
