DIY Wireless Sim Racing HUD - Raspberry Pi + LCD + SimHub

Описание к видео DIY Wireless Sim Racing HUD - Raspberry Pi + LCD + SimHub

In this video I'll show you how to make your own wireless sim racing HUD using a Raspberry Pi, an LCD screen and SimHub software to show race telemetry data. I'll walk you through setting up and configuring the Raspberry Pi, configuring SimHub and testing it all out.

Hope you enjoy!

• Note on LCD panel selection:
In this video I used an old Adafruit 5" TFT LCD panel with an Adafruit Kippah Hat, this requires additional configuration of the Raspberry Pi which is detailed on the Adafruit website here: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-d...

Alternatively, a simpler option is to use a WaveShare 5" LCD panel which is powered by the Raspberry Pi's GPIO pins and receives its display signal from the Raspberry Pi's HDMI port.

I've created 3D printable enclosures for both screen types below (Adafruit | WaveShare):
