Women In the Media | Isabelle Muresan | TEDxYouth@LincolnStreet

Описание к видео Women In the Media | Isabelle Muresan | TEDxYouth@LincolnStreet

In an effort to grow into a more empowering society, we must change the expectations that the media portrays for women. Isabelle attends Lincoln high school, where she’s a part of SAFER (Students Active for Ending Rape), Linc, GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) , environmental justice club, and acts as the sophomore class spirit representative. Apart from school she loves dance, art, and music.

She believes that “Since the beginning of civilization, humans have repeatedly worked towards changing the world into a better place. (She) want(s) to change the world because (she) envisions a better one; a world where we each are more responsible and more aware of our actions, and where we can all benefit as a result.” This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
