Is a 60mm Presta valve enough for Vision Metron 55 SL rim?

You might be wondering if you could fit a 55mm clincher rim with a 60mm presta valve tube. A usual recommendation is to choose a valve 10 to 30mm longer than your rim section depth. However, you'll find very limited offer of tubes with a 60+ mm presta valve. And once you need a wider tube for a 28-32c tire, the offer of 60+ mm valves will be next to none. This could be solved with valve extenders, yeah, but I'd prefer to go for this solution only as a last resort. It's just another headache to be avoided unless you deal with some extremely deep rims. A usual tube with a one-piece presta valve is always more reliable, whether as a busy or a spare one. There's a nice offer of tubes with 60mm presta valves. Let's find out if this could be a sound choice for Vision Metron 55 SL rims. Will we be able to pump such a wheel easily enough?
