The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy held the 2020 virtual Convocation on June 13, 2020, recognizing graduates, with opening addresses by Harris Public Policy Dean Katherine Baicker and Senior Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs Jeremy Edwards. Outgoing Harris Student Government Vice President Luis Recalde Ramirez, MPP'20, was the student speaker, sharing memories from his time at Harris and reflecting on involvement in the Harris community.

Chicago Community Trust Associate Vice President of Community Impact Daniel O. Ash, MPP'94, uses his Distinguished Alumnus Address to encourage graduates to pursue equality courageously, quoting school namesake Irving B. Harris: "We must use the tools at our disposal...to understand the causes of social failure and weed them out. Human motivation and social organization should not be insoluble mysteries, nor should it be beyond our talents to organize our society to eradicate the malignancy of permanent poverty and deprivation."

After a slideshow featuring graduating students, Dean Baicker delivers parting remarks celebrating the Class of 2020.
