Join us on a peaceful 4K virtual walk along Vienna’s Metro U4 line, from Schönbrunn to Meidling Hauptstraße, recorded on 10 November 2025 around 8:15 am. The weather was mild with 10°C (50°F) and clear autumn skies.

This tour takes place in district 15, Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus, one of Vienna’s most authentic residential areas north of the Wienfluss. Starting at Schönbrunn station, you can admire Otto Wagner’s iconic architecture, a hallmark of Vienna’s Art Nouveau heritage. The walk continues through Auer-Welsbach-Park, a green oasis where locals enjoy a break from the city noise.

You will also see unique residential buildings with round windows, a Viennese fire brigade in action, and a few surprising hidden spots such as basements and service tunnels.
Fun fact: The U4 line is one of Vienna’s oldest, originally part of the Stadtbahn built by Otto Wagner in the late 19th century.

At the end of the walk, we descend into Meidling Hauptstraße station, surrounded by the familiar green colors of the U4 line.
