[Built-in Battery] Mini Projector with Wifi and Bluetooth, 4K Decoding 1080P Supported 270° Rotatable 150'' Screen Auto Keystone Home Outdoor Portable Projector Smart Projector, White

This 1080P resolution portable projector comes with a circular battery that magnetically attaches to the base (and has a power cable joining the projector to the battery). The combined unit played a movie for 106 minutes before shutting down in my testing. This is enough for a very short movie, or several episodes of a TV show.

It comes with an AC cord that plugs into the back of the projector and will run it, and also re-charge the battery if it is attached. The projector has a USB-A port where you can plug in a USB memory stick with movies and play directly from the card. [The videos have to be encoded in one of the more common video codecs supported by the projector. It played most of my movies successfully, but a few older ones refused to play.]

It also has an HDMI port to be used with a computer or external media player.

The projector also has a built in android media player with Wifi, so once you attach it to your home network, you can log into the google play store and install many streaming apps. [It has YouTube pre-installed.] I also was able to download a game from the play store and play it using the projector remote control (although the control mappings were a little weird). The android system is a little slow to install apps or switch between them, but once you are streaming a video I never had it jerk or shudder on it's main job of playing content. "Xiaomi MiBox S" is the name of the android system inside the projector.

The brightness of the projector is perfectly fine at night, and it is visible projecting on a wall inside a room with indirect light from a window during the day, but a bit washed out. The projector supports various forms of keystone correction (but you lose resolution if you use too much keystone correction) and it does a good job of auto-focusing the image with a motorized focusing system. [You can also manually focus the image using the remote control.]

When I projected a computer desktop on a slightly textured painted wall (NOT the best projection surface) I felt that smaller text was a bit fuzzy, and didn't feel it would make a good monitor replacement, but it's great for showing movies or playing games.

The built in 3 watt speaker is acceptable for indoor use with a small group, but you are probably going to want to plug a soundbar or other amplifier into the 3.5mm audio jack for any serious movie watching, especially outdoors or with a larger group.

I feel that the video quality, brightness and features are appropriate for this general price range, but I expect that the large rechargeable battery adds significantly to the cost. Because the battery doesn't even run the projector for a full 2 hours, I'm not certain that having it be battery powered is a useful feature. (Unless you want to stream something for less than 106 minutes somewhere that does not have power available). You can probably get the same image quality, brightness and features without the battery power for a lower price in a different projector.

I would have liked to have a 1/4-20 socket for mounting purposes, and a battery with a 2+ hour runtime to play most movies on a single charge.
