Indiana Harbor Works: Steel Mill Trains in East Chicago

On November 23rd, 2024, I returned to one of my favorite steel mills on Chicago's southeast side, Cleveland Cliffs Indiana Harbor. There's never a shortage of activity here on any given day, and today was no exception. In this video we will watch three different sets of switchers work their way throughout the steel mill with various trains. One of the more interesting units shown is a LTEX (former CN/WC) SW1500 that Cleveland Cliffs has been leasing recently. Sit back and relax as we take a look at some heavy industrial railroading action still alive and well in the rust belt!
