A Day in IZU SHIMODA - Sea Views, Black Ships and Kinmedai

Описание к видео A Day in IZU SHIMODA - Sea Views, Black Ships and Kinmedai

Shimoda is a picturesque Japanese seaside town just a few hours southwest of Tokyo, on the tip of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka. Aside from breathtaking sea views and delicious seafood, the town also boasts a surprising amount of historic flavor, with various sites commemorating the arrival of Commodore Perry's Black Ship fleet in the 19th century, that ultimately ended centuries of Japanese isolationism.
