📖 Description

The Hijrah to Madinah was one of the most powerful and emotional moments in Islamic history.

After years of persecution in Makkah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions were commanded by Allah to migrate to Madinah. One by one, the early Muslims left behind their homes, wealth, and families only for the sake of Allah.

When the Quraysh plotted to kill the Prophet ﷺ, he left Makkah secretly with his close companion, Abu Bakr RA. They hid for three days in the Cave of Thawr, where the Prophet ﷺ comforted his friend with the timeless words:

“Do not grieve, indeed Allah is with us.” Qur’an 9:40

After a long and blessed journey, the Prophet ﷺ reached Madinah, where he was welcomed with the beautiful nasheed:

“Tala‘a al-Badru ‘Alayna…” 🌙

This migration marked the beginning of a new Islamic era — the foundation of the first Islamic state and the spread of Islam across the world.
