When you enable this setting, Credential Manager will not store passwords and credentials on the computer. Once disabled or set as not configured, Credential Manager will store passwords and credentials on this computer for later use for domain authentication.

Registry Editor Method 1:
1. Press Win + R to run box and then type in gpedit.msc, hit OK to open Group Policy.
2. avigation: Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Remote Desktop Services, Remote Desktop Connection Client.
3. Check the Do not allow passwords to be saved and Prompt for credentials on the client computer is Not configured or Disabled.

Registry Editor Method 2:
1. Press Win Key + R to launch Run.
2. Type Regedit and press enter.
3. Go to the following path:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
Over here, look for DisableDomainCreds and double-click on it.
4. Finally, change the value from 1 to 0 and click on OK.
