Tutorial - Off-grid DIY Solar PV Arduino Power Datalogger Project part 1 - Design

Описание к видео Tutorial - Off-grid DIY Solar PV Arduino Power Datalogger Project part 1 - Design

Part 1 - Design

This is the first part of a series of videos where I explain how I used an Arduino to measure and log voltage, current, time and data for my off-grid solar PV setup. This kind of project can be applied to anything where you want to measure voltage and current. I also used a datalogger shield to record the data onto an SD card.

In part 1 I show how I designed the circuit. In later videos I will show how I constructed and tested the circuit. Finally I will explain the code.

Parts of the video
0:00 - Introduction
04:34 - Voltage divider circuit to measure the battery voltage
11:54 - Power supply to Arduino
16:49 - Current measurement with a CT clamp
22:58 - Summary so far
23:26 - Datalogger - using SD card read/writer and RTC DS3231
24:59 Datalogger using SD card shield Deek-robot V1.0
26:38 - Brief look at important code variables
27:46 - Protection fuses
36:18 - Outro
