Lisa Ashley is a CNA senior nurse advisor. Her work includes advocating for healthy public policies that optimize the RN role. She is also chair of the Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance of Canada (CDPAC). Lisa has held leadership positions as a home health and public health professional, at local, provincial and national levels, which address health promotion and disease prevention and management. She has extensive experience in healthy public policy, program development, corporate funding, organizational planning, financial and information management, stakeholder engagement and nursing student mentorship. Lisa has published on a variety of topics in national and international peer-reviewed journals. In addition to holding a BScN in community health from Ryerson University and a master’s in education from the University of Ottawa, she has certificates in multiple intervention programming and health management and is also proud to be CNA certified in community health nursing.
