Chinese President Xi Jinping has delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the B20 Summit on Saturday. He reviewed the country’s reform and opening up policy, calling it a great process of exploration, action and hard work. Xi said China chose innovation as the main topic for the G20 Summit, and put trade and investment on the event's agenda. He added that China will continue to participate in the economic globalization and support a multilateral trading system, noting that the country will speed up discussions on the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and investment deals with relevant countries. China will work together with all parties to ensure the G20 Summit finds ways for the world economy to achieve robust, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth.
