In August 2021, Chris Moore, then lead youth development phase coach at Sunderland, delivered an exclusive session for CV Academy. The topic was creating chances through attacking midfielders.

In this excerpt, from the first practice of the four-part session, Moore coaches his players in a themed possession game with a focus on passing in tight areas. Two teams of three attempt to combine with target players at each end of the playing area – representing a centre-back and centre-forward – before scoring through one of two target gates.

In October 2021, Chris Moore became lead Under-15 and Under-16 coach at Newcastle United.
