Well, I did it. I finished the first pass through the Gleim CPA study review course for REG in 2025. It took me about a month. The 13th study unit was all about book-to-tax differences between C corporations and S corporations, and I found it very interesting and the materials were very good. Professor Luke is a good lecturer and all the Gleim lecturers seem to be very good. The counselors are, again, helpful in numerous, helpful, countless amounts of times for when I needed motivation or wanted to know if my study process was efficient for support and just to talk to them about the process. Trusted counselors instead of going online and finding you know negative opinions and opinions about the exam when maybe the person hadn’t studied as much as they should have.

I think anyone is capable of passing these exams if they have the proper education and the study ethics for actually putting in the work. I work full-time and sometimes I work overtime. I am a little bit lucky because a benefit of my job is that I can study during downtime, however, I do keep up with my work and when I have downtime, I do go through the materials so that’s helpful.

I’ve passed FAR and I’m looking forward to passing REG November 29 in about a month so I have about a month to do two mock exams and review the course and then I will do Audit and then I will do ISC which is Information Systems and Controls and in passing those, I already have the experience component working under a CPA so I am happy to say that I am feeling hopeful and confident that I will achieve this certification and all the rewards that come with it.
