It’s better to leave your own personal comments but here is some examples!

I support these rule changes because…
• Native fishes are valuable parts of freshwater ecosystems and deserve conservation

• Nongame fishes are important and deserve some protection

• Management of nongame fishes is long overdue

• Unlimited harvest of native species is not responsible stewardship of our natural resources

• Native nongame fishes are part of Oklahoma’s (can replace “Oklahoma’s” with “our”) aquatic biodiversity

• Native nongame fishes are important to healthy aquatic ecosystems

• Gars are important predators that help maintain balance in aquatic ecosystems

• Recent research on gars, buffalofishes, etc. shows they are long-lived

• Bag limits are a standard way to manage fisheries

• These native nongame fishes are targeted by anglers, therefore they should be managed

• Most of the nongame fishes taken by bowfishing are wasted

• Bowfishing is rapidly expanding and needs some regulatory controls
