I have been reminded recently that I rarely plan water crushes so this one was long overdue! And I do actually enjoy them…but, in total honesty, I crush in the 10 minute windows where I can find time and usually that leaves no time for reforms. Well, water crushes = wet paste = immediate reforming. That is really the only reason I don’t do them more but I definitely need to start because they are glorious. I love the sound of the chalk powder hitting the water & playing in the paste (with gloves, of course 😊).

And speaking of gloves….you might note the glove change mid-video. I was SOOO excited to try out these neon green gloves (that I even made into SPARKLE gloves, for crying out loud) and they were not giving. Not one bit. They were too big and flimsy and I kept having to stop and readjust. I wanted to make them work so badly but, in the end, it was a case of function over fashion. 😂

Electric purple paste does not mess around and my hands get stained just from thinking about touching it!!!! So it’s a must for me when mixing up all that ooey gooey goodness!!!

Once again, Mini Sparkle was briefly herding elephants through the upstairs. I’ve found he’s more quiet if I don’t say “ok Bub, give me 10 minutes to film without making a bunch of noise.” It’s like a dare. A quest. And like his Momma, he doesn’t like to lose 😉
