From February to March 2019, the towns of Lanark and Rutherglen in Scotland were transformed into a giant game.

More than 5,000 people took part in Beat the Street - a walking and cycling initiative that aimed to get people active by turning the towns into a competition. Schools, workplaces and community groups competed against each other for six weeks to see who could travel the furthest.
