Maybelline New York Super Stay Up To 30H Lumi Matte Foundation SPF 16 PA+++ for Medium Tan Skintone

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - @maybelline_ind's new launch - Maybelline New York Super Stay Up To 30H Lumi-Matte Foundation SPF 16 PA+++

I was super excited to try this out and placed my order on the day it was launched in India. The shade range is very limited with only 10 shades available and I picked the shade 230 which had a neutral undertone. The shade is lighter for my NC 40 medium tan skintone. The next shade available was 310 but I have tried that in Fit me Range and it was also not a good match. For reference, my shade in Maybelline's Fit Me range is 312.

Coming to the foundation texture, it is quite light weight and consistency is not very thick. It is easy to apply and blend. I have dry skin type and it blended in very easily with a brush. However the finish was not as I expected. It was too matte for my liking and not luminous at all. It clinged on to my skin in not a very good way. It sort of exaggerated my texture which otherwise isn't very noticeable.

I prepped my skin with a good moisturiser + used a colour corrector before application.

First impressions for me were not very good but
I'll try it with more moisturising base the next time!
