Jose sees these siloed systems as an opportunity for innovation. As Group President at Trane Technologies, he is working to integrate a building's many functions so they operate in unison.

A building that generates renewable energy and has electrical or thermal energy storage could run its own facilities, including heating and cooling systems, without taking power from the grid. Such a building wouldn't just have lower emissions – it would be Net Positive.
