Humare lungs ke niche muscle se bani ek plate hoti hai jise hum diaphragm kehte hain. Ye diaphragm oxygen lene aur carbon dioxide chodne me humari madad karta hai. jab bhi ye diagphragm contract yani kasta hai to humare lungs me air bharti hai aur jab ye relax karta hai to lungs ki saari hawa humare muh se bahar nikal jaati hai.
Diaphragm ki is movement ke lie humara dimaag usko aadesh deta hai….Jaisa ki vo baaki saare organ ko deta hai.

Dekha gaya hai ki jab bhi hume hitchki aati hai to humara dimaag humare diaphragm ko signal deta hai ekdum se kasne ka jisse humare gale ke andar kaafi saari air ekdum se chali jaati hai. Jab humari body tezi se bahut saari air apne andar lene ki koshish karti hai...to humare gale me maujood vocal cords tezi se band ho jaati hain aur ye awaaz unhi ke ekdum se band hone se aati hai...HIC!!


Why do we get hiccup?

Hiccups can affect a person's life, particularly when they start at the wrong time. Scientists know what hiccups are, but they do not why they occur. Each of us has a flat plate of muscle just beneath our lungs, separating our chest from our abdomen. It's called the diaphragm, and it helps us breathe: when it moves downward, it causes the lungs to pull in air through the nose and mouth. And when it moves upward, it forces air out of our lungs. The movement of the diaphragm is directed by the brain, which sends signals down nerves that end in the diaphragm.
A hiccup occurs when the brain sends a signal for the diaphragm to shift forcefully downward, suddenly pulling a lot of air into the back of the throat. The sudden change in pressure causes the vocal cords in the throat to temporarily snap shut, causing the "hic" sound of a hiccup. But why the brain sends the signals that cause hiccups, , is still a mystery.
