Raccoon Saloon "Living Room"

Several raccoons have taken over an abandoned house and get fed in the living room and woodshed often. Raccoons can come and go outside as they please. Some sleep inside and some sleep in trees outside but come in for food.

Butter, Goldie, AT, Buddy, Otter, Spike and Mogwai haven't been seen in awhile

Moms and Kits for 2024 season total 25 kits so far
BT mom in Broken Tree-3 kits first seen 5/26/2024 climbed down 6/1 and all have been in house
HB mom -5 kits first seen 6/7/2024 all have been in house
FT mom in Front Tree -3 kits first seen 5/27/2024 climbed down 5/29 and all have been in house
LD mom --5 kits with one blonde "Winter" like last year first seen 6/9/2024 all have been in house
CT mom -- 4 kits in Mikes barn seen 5/23/2024 she took them out on 6/8/2024 all been in house
RT mom in Right Tree move her 1 kit "Lucky" in house 5/9/2024 then back to tree then both fell from wind storm out of tree and was separated but Lucky is now living with friends 7/21/2024
Update: Lucky hasnt had a confirmed sighting since 7/31/2024
MM mom "Luna" --4 kits first seen 7/15/2024 all have been in house

Attic mom hasn't been seen this year
Original BT mom hasn't been seen this year
Overboat Mom not sure
Smokey and Bandit Mom not sure

KIT RECORD FOR 2023 SEASON

ATTIC MOM 4 KITS 5/14 moved from attic
Abandoned one: Snugs who was rescued and taken to rehab on 6/2
Current Status: Attic Mom left and failed to return. Her remaining kits: Buddy and Peanut join LD at times
Note: Jr was a blonde or an albino kit. UPDATE: Sadly Junior passed away on 8/24/23

TREE MOM/LD (Laydown) 5 KITS 6/2 moved into house
One kit named Butter moved over to attic mom on 6/23 but has since returned to LD. He is blonde
Current status: LD Is now up to 7 kits she has 5 of her own and 2 of Attic moms kits.

BROKEN TREE MOM (BT) 5 KITS 6/9 moved kits /tree
All 5 have remained with her/ they are nicknamed HOOVERS due to how much and how fast they eat
Current status: BT Mom left and has not returned. The kits come often to eat and sleep.

HB MOM ( Hunchback) 5 KITS 7/18 in broken tree
She has moved her kits several times from top of tree to lower den and back again.
Current Status: as of 8/29 all kits are down from tree and moved to the woods

OB Mom ( Over boat) 4 KITS 6/8 moved to house
Ob mom had 2 kits that she moved from void in April. They did not survive. Passed away 4/30.
Then on 6/8 she moved 4 kits from front tree to house. This was her 2nd litter
Current status: OB mom brought 3 kits back to woods and the 4th has presumed passed.
Update: OB mom and 3 kits returned to house to eat 8/27/23 first time in weeks.

SB MOM (Smokey Bandit) 2 KITS 6/16 woodshed
Two kits entered the woodshed on 6/13 stayed awhile then left. On 6/16 they returned with their mom.
Current status: They do not live in the house. They haven't been seen in weeks.

CT Mom (Crooked Tail) 4 KITS 8/23 woodshed
Mom entered woodshed with her 4 kits for the first time on 8/23.

TOTAL: 29 KITS FIRST KIT SOUNDS: 4/22 FIRST KIT SIGHTING: 4/24
