Mordaunt Short (U.K) 2 way Bookshelf Speaker | Model MS 20i

Mordaunt Short was established in 1967 by Norman Mordaunt and Rodney Short at London, England. This became a popular brand with MS20, MS30 and MS40 ranges. MS was baught by TGI plc in 1987 who were also the owner of famous brands like Tannoy and Goodmans loudspeakers.
Mordaunt Short was again sold to Audio Partnership Plc in 1999 with more R&D facilities and new premium product range.

I had a pair of MS20i speakers of which the rubber surround of one woofer was in bad condition . The moulded cone body was ok. As I could not get an original cone for replacement, I had to open rubber surround from a different cone and replace the earlier surround. There was one difference - the original was having a reverse roll surround. However, there is not much difference in sound quality between two woofers and the pair of speakers are performing well.
As I had to open the speaker for repair, I created a video for my viewers to get an inside view of a welknown speaker.
