A Bangladeshi Hindu businessman has died after being set ablaze in a suspected targeted attack, raising fresh concerns over the safety of minorities in Bangladesh. The victim, identified as Khokon Chandra Das, a 50-year-old businessman, was allegedly attacked by miscreants who poured petrol on him and set him on fire. He was initially hospitalised and later shifted to a hospital in Dhaka for advanced treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
