This new song came to me a few weeks ago directly after I was praying one evening about truth and how it can't seem to get a voice. I prayed that truth would echo down the halls of the capital, sing over the airways of the radio, that it would seep into the backrooms of twisted dealings, it would floor the lost and lonely. It would set free the captives, afflicted and suffering, shut the mouths of wolves and lions, expose the lies of the enemy, open the eyes of the blind, heal the sick and raise the dead.
I pray this song is our prayer for God to heal our land. "If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14.
