Greetings from deep space, and welcome to Star Circus: STAR TRAKS Episode 2!

In this second instalment, Dave chats to his long term buddy Tom Draper, currently a member of Bay-area power-trio Hands of Goro, prog-rockers Birth and a previous touring member of seminal metal bands Carcass and Angel Witch! Tom is one of a select few who feature on both Star Circus albums, 'Separate Sides' and 'From The Wreckage', playing dazzling lead guitar work on the tracks 'Something', 'Before the Song is Over' and most recently 'Destiny's Door'.

Tom and Dave talk about discovering Ozzy and Dio records together as teenagers in the suburbs of London. They forged their way through pubs and clubs in the UK with early bands the Cardboard Jon idea, and later in Renegade Playboys, one of the first bands of the classic rock and hair-metal revival, and one of the last bands to play the fabled London Astoria, alongside the Darkness and Dragonforce!

Tom is now a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area and Sophie and Dave were lucky enough to visit him last November to collaborate on what ended up being one of the most magnificent guitar solos on our second album!
