Custom Trunk Panel: Containing an Airplane Motor in a Volkswagen Bus! Metal Forming 101!

On this episode, we are back on the rear of the 'Radial Flyer' fabricating a custom trunk lid, with loads of sheet metal forming and genius DIY tool trick to contain our radial airplane engine. We utilize and modify the inner support frame of the factory panel to fit our custom application.

A new outer skin is formed, and louvers are punched to help remove engine bay fumes and heat, adding a touch of hotrod style and functionality. We're one step closer to hearing those six pipes sing in harmony!
