For years I’ve heard that if you wanted to get a Winchester model 70, you needed one built before 1964. I’m sure a lot of you have heard the same thing. Why is that? What happened at the end of 1963 that made such big differences?

Today we’re going to visit some of those differences. Will take a close look at the bolt, the action, and other features that changed in 1964 and going forward.
