What is the SACS system? The Strawberry Aqueduct Collection System...
The single largest component of the Bonneville central Utah project... who knew?? So buckle up - @offroad801 hit a milestone and our adventures just got better. Ultimately - this channel is for you. We'll be looking for some suggestions/input on our new addition.. :)

Curtis will take his first flight with the DJI Mini Pro 3 . He'll explain (briefly) what we've learned so far on the SACS system - also - show you around the areas referred to as the #blueribbon of fishing in #utah and of course, be looking for some #freecamping spots in the Uinta's.

So let's head out for some gravel travel... Beginning at Mill Hollow. Which is there for your "fishing pleasure"... :) Curtis has NOT fished here but is supposed to be "really good" spot. There is a nice looking campground here for $22 - but AGAIN. We're in the Uinta National Forest, so you basically can camp for free if you choose. We're heading south on trail 054. It's still smoky out but we're going to have fun anyway.
The next wash boardy road is for Current Creek, where he reaches a portal believed to be part of the SACS system. It runs from Still Water to Strawberry reservoir. A tunnel with water coming right out of the ground. Assuming it was completed in 1983, (according to the impression) directly above the exit of the tunnel. Once at Current Creek overlook, he spots the next portal. Which "seems" to be heading to Strawberry. Not 100% on this but this is how it seems to be??????
Now, we'll be back-tracking a bit to get to Strawberry, on a road that's only accessible in the summer. Making our way on CO-OP Creek Rd. and then Strawberry, where there is another portal - titled "west portal" on the Atlas.
Then we'll be heading back to the valley, and hopefully catch a sunset. We'll get to take a look at the atlas and view our route also.
