Rollerblading Boardwalks on the Border-to-Border Trail - [Rollstride Fitness Skate]

Riding the Border-to-Border trail on inline skates! This is the segment between Dexter and Hudson Mills Metropark This is about a 5.5mi mile segment starting from a connector trail by the Dexter School District. The trail wanders along the Huron River with gentle slopes and boardwalks making for a fun varied ride!

Its a great trail for fitness skating! Newer skaters will be able to enjoy the trail since the slopes are gradual with lots of open grass to roll off into. Absolute beginners may prefer to start out on the loop at Hudson Mills Metropark since the trail there is very flat. There's a couple of extended boardwalk segments which may be easier on larger wheels, but generally not much of an issue to roll across.

The Border-to-Border trail continues from downtown Dexter heading southeast towards Ann-Arbor. Just take a ramp from the river up onto main street and pass through downtown to pick back up on the trail. This segment also crosses the Michigan Iron Belle, which is a trail network extending across the entire state!
